The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Google Fonts

We download display fonts for the use of this website from Google Fonts, and Google may collect data about the use of that service. For technical reasons, this is not opt-in.

LinkedIn analytics

We provide opt-in use of LinkedIn analytics. LinkedIn may associate your use of this site with your LinkedIn profile, if you have one, and will provide us with anonymised demographic data about visitors to the site who have opted in.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

1. Your consent for marketing and sales communications. Your information will not be used without your consent for marketing and sales communications. You are able to remove your consent to marketing and sales communications at any time. You can do this by contacting us and we will remove your information from the marketing and sales communications processes as soon as practicably possible.
2. We have a contractual obligation to provide the services to you. When your contract with us ends, your personal and other data will be deleted within 90 days, with the exception noted in the legal oblication and legitimate interest sections below. We are happy to provide a "certificate of erasure" email to you on request.
3. We have a legal obligation to maintain information related to our sales and accounts receivables processes for seven years, and this may include personal data associated with the contracting and paying entities.
4. We have a legitimate interest to maintain information about our business contacts and the process of contracting and contract termination. Personal data used in the communications with you about the service, contract and service operation with you will be deleted within 2 years of the end of our last contact with you. We have a legitimate interest in maintaining service availability and securing our systems, services and data and technical identifiers will be retained for up to one year. We have a legitimate interest in improving our services but will only store or share anonymized data to do so.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on physical media in computer systems in the European Economic Area. Transmission across open, public networks is always done within channels using industry-standard encryption.

Data is stored on encrypted disks in databases with proportionate access controls or in encrypted files. Data deletion occurs through the deletion of records or files using system facilities. Backups are stored on systems with equivalent security measures as production systems. No production data is used in development or testing contexts.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

• Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
• Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
• Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
• You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. We hope to respond with significantly more alacrity than that.

Please note that our legal obligations and legitimate interests may override certain of your rights in specific cases. We will do our best to explain these situations and help you avoid them upon request.
